The middle of the story is where you add layers of complications that will lead to the end. Reveal more about the character's journey. Did their personality go through changes? How did they overcome the challenges? And as you build up the story’s central conflict, make it more personal to that character. Also, from the middle act, you have to lead into the final act.

Zahvaljujući školovanju koje je imao Charles je bio visoko obrazovan čovjek koji je tijekom svog života radio puno toga, pa je tako pisao galantna djela o prijateljstvu i ljubavi, rasprave o književnosti.

Njihova je trajna popularnost učinila Perraulta jednim od najprevođenijih francuskih književnika. Umro je 16. svibnja 1703. godine u Parizu.

Unatoč svemu do kraja života je ostao najpoznatiji kao autor bajki s kojima su odrasle mnoge generacije. Najpoznatije mu je djelo zbirka bajki Pripovijesti ili priče iz prošlosti (1697), poznatija pod imenom Priče majke guske, u kojoj su popularne bajke Crvenkapica, Pepeljuga, Modrobradi, Trnoružica, Palčić i Mačak u čizmama. Motive tih priča crpio je iz narodne fantazije.

Charles Perrault rođen je 12. siječnja 1628. godine u Parizu u Francuskoj.
