P5 Cycles (part 1) States of Water and the Water Cycle
Water undergoes a continuous cycle involving various states: solid, liquid, and gas. When the sun heats water in different bodies like puddles, lakes, and oceans, it evaporates and rises into the atmosphere as water vapour.
The water vapour touches
the cooler sky and condenses
into clouds (many water droplets).
When the clouds get too heavy,
the water droplets fall down as
rain.
The Sun heats up water puddles,
lakes, oceans and rivers, which
evaporate and rise into the air as
water vapour.
