Ask the following questions about recourses: -How soon after the beginning of school will students be given their textbooks? -What computer facilities are available? -What calculators are familiar to students? -What manipulative can or should you use? -What resources are available to assist you in working with students with special needs? -What clerical or school help can you expect? Does your school have student aides? -Is there a professional section of the library for the teachers? -As a participating mathematics department member, you should be aware of available financing sources. How can you request funs for curricular activities?
