The hiring process begins with a manager interview, followed by a conditional job offer contingent upon the applicant meeting pre-employment requirements. The applicant must take a drug test within 72 hours and pass it, and their driving record must be deemed acceptable.

Manager Interview followed by Conditional offer to Hire

Applicant accepts position contingent upon passing pre employment requirements listed below.
Applicant takes drug test (arranged by HR)within 72 hours and does not pass, OR Applicant completes DMV form and driving record is not acceptable to company and insurance (if applicable)

Applicant is informed by department Manager that conditional offer to hire is being withdrawn due to drug test/driving record, whichever is applicable. Paperwork is filed at HR.

Applicant takes drug test (arranged by HR) within 72 hours and successfully passes. Applicant completes DMV form and driving record is acceptable to company and insurance (if applicable)

Applicant is offered position at Peters Auto Sales by Manager of the department.

Applicant accepts position and a starting date is agreed upon. Manager informs HR of the starting date. Manager informs applicant to report to HR on the starting date at 9am.

HR schedules employee orientation for starting date

HR prepares new employee notification for CIS/Janice/Garrett/Michael immediately once HR orientation date is arranged.

Garrett/Michael informs HR which one of them will be conducting the IT orientation and the location of the IT orientation.

Janice/CIS ensures employee computer station is set up and working correctly. Ensures employee email address is set up. This should be completed by end of HR orientation.

Employee completes HR orientation and HR calls Garrett/Michael to let them know new employee is on the way to the dealership.

New Employee IT orientation is completed by Michael/Garrett. Michael/Garrett assist employee in setting up passwords/voicemail etc. Employee is now ready to work on their online training (if applicable).

Applicant declines position. Department Manager informs HR and paperwork is filed at HR
