The Pythagorean Theorem, a fundamental principle in mathematics, is often attributed to the ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who lived around 530 BC. Pythagoras founded a religious movement known as the Brotherhood of Pythagoras, which combined aspects of science, philosophy, and spirituality.
