The Anishinaabe are a group of Indigenous people with a deep connection to the environment, demonstrated through their adherence to the Seven Grandfather Teachings which include love, respect, bravery, truth, honesty, humility, and wisdom.
The Anishinaabe are a artistic group! The Anishinaabe made art pieces which were usually made out of porcupine quills. They would usually make ash baskets. But after European settlers arrived there was differences. The Anishinaabe used The Europeans trades of cloth, beads and many more to use. They then started making things like moccasins. Anishinaabe artist's include someone like Norval Morrisseau a lot of people know his work in the"Woodland School" style(a x ray of diffrent types of natural things like a example is I see a lot of animals.) which he created. The Anishinaabe were somewhat fishers, gatherers and hunters. In the winter the Anishinaabe would hunt and catch food. As well as collect plants and farm them when the plants can grow. Where did they live and did they migrate in Canada?
Their origin history takes place in Anishinaabeg it is on the northeast coast, which is now Canada and The United States. They did migrate to Lake Superior. Which sometimes is referred to as "The Great Migration". Pranathi
