A Beginner's Guide to Succulents

Summary Paragraph

Have you given up on gardening? Have you dubbed yourself “The Black Thumb Bandit” because you kill every plant you touch? I get it. Plants and gardening is not everyone’s cup of tea; some people just cannot keep a plant alive no matter how much they try. Maintaining plants can be tricky because they all thrive in different ways. Some plants like direct sunlight, others prefer filtered light; some plants like acidic soil, while others prefer alkaline. It all can sound pretty overwhelming, and even my explanation of succulent care may sound the same. But, I promise. Succulents are very simple to care for. Even the notorious Black Thumb Bandit is capable of growing and maintaining them. They will forgive your forgetfulness, and actually, they will encourage it. You see, succulents are native to desert areas. They hail from Africa, Mexico, North American deserts; all around the world. They are accustomed to arid climates, and do not require frequent watering. Reconsidering another try at gardening yet? Let me tell you a little more about the magnificent world of succulents and you can decide. Succulents are beautiful not only in their appearance, but their simplicity as well, and they would make a lovely addition to your home and garden.

Underwatering
Don't need water often, but certain types need more water than others.
Overwatering
Succulents with thicker leaves hold more water, therefore don't need to be watered as often.
All of them most definitely do not like water too often
