The CPU, or central processing unit, serves as the brain of a computer, determining its speed and efficiency. The motherboard, being the largest circuit board, houses all essential components and allows the connection of additional cards like sound and video cards.

Read onley memory. It is good at remembering but cannot change its mind, it holds info that is built into it.

RAM

Random access memory. It can even change to remember new info. But when the computer is turned off it forgets everything it had remembered earlier.

The CPU

The brain of the computer is the CPU or central Processing unit. This determines how fast that the computer can operate.

MotherBoard

It holds all of the most important parts of the computer
You can plug in a sound card and a video card into the motherboard
The MotherBoard is the largest ciruit board

Modem

This is an expansion card that allows computers to talk to each other
