Various careers require different personality traits to excel. Social workers need emotional stability to handle challenging situations and provide reliable support to their clients.

Extraversion

Customer Service
Customer service requires a good outlook and confident, smiling service. An extrovert provides this by their nature alone.
Extraversion means you are outgoing, bubbly and gregarious. An extrovert is often very easy to deal with.

Conscientiousness

Doctor
A Doctor has to be thorough in their work, as if they miss something or do something incorrectly, lives can be at risk.
Conscientiousness means one is very thorough in their work, and wants to do a complete job in everything they do.

Agreeableness

Teacher
Teachers deal with difficult students every day. They have to be able to maintain a strong relationship with their students to get the best level of quality and commitment out of them.
Agreeableness has to do with how well one gets along with others. They strongly empathize with other people and are easy to get along with.

Openness to Experience

Lawyer

Lawyers never have two cases that are exactly the same. They always have to take things as they come and provide a variable case to whatever they're doing. They need to think creatively to either form a strong defence, or prosecution.
Openness refers to the ability to deal with changes in the workplace. This often means they either have a creative job, or need to take a creative, problem-solving approach to what they do.

People who work in social work often have to deal with issues that may be difficult to deal with. They must also be emotionally stable to provide a strong base for their clients to work from
Emotional stability means one is able to remain calm in the face of things that might provoke emotion in others.
