Approaches to Argument

Different methods can be employed to structure and present arguments effectively. Aristotelian rhetoric focuses on three main appeals: pathos, which leverages emotional engagement; logos, which relies on logical reasoning and evidence; and ethos, which establishes the credibility of the speaker or writer.

The warrant
