Dropbox
Dropbox is an app that you can add documents in and access them from every computer that you have your dropbox on. This makes it very easy to work on something at home, put it in your dropbox, and then open it at work.

Example: Put items that you need to work on in your dropbox. Open it up on your computer at home.

Evernote
Evernote is another app that you can use to create to do list, but it goes a step further by being able to jot down notes, create audio memos, and several other things. It is also a bit like OneNote in the sense that you can use it to share notes.

Example: Use evernote to take notes of a meeting and record the audio of that meeting. Be able to come back to it later to review the contents of the meeting and what was discussed.

Any.do
Any.do is an app that allows you to create list of things that need to get done that day or in the future. You can also create reminders of when you would like to complete those tasks.

Example: Create a task list of items that you need to complete for the upcoming school board meeting and set reminders of when you need to complete those tasks.

Twitter is a feed of tweets that consists of 140 characters or less. People tweet news, blogs, thoughts, ideas, opinions, and information related to their organization

Send out a tweets updating the community on how the football team is doing in a game.

Instragram is another social media platform. This allows users to share photos of what the user is doing or things that they find interesting. People can like, share, and comment on others photos

Example: Post a picture of students and teachers using technology in a new and innovative way.

Facebook
Facebook is a social media app that allows individuals to post what is happeing in their lives through text, pictures, or video.

Example: Share a post about an upcoming parent teacher conference

OneNote
OneNote is an app created by Microsoft Office. You can create different Notebooks for differnt things such as important emails, school handbook, important form, etc. These notebooks can be shared with people in your learning organization where they can have different levels of editing rights.

Example: Put your staff handbook on OneNote and share it with teachers in the building. Give editing rights to other admin to update the handbook.

One Drive
One Drive is an online cloud storage system for Office 365.Individuals can save their work in their One Drive and access it either through the app, the online platform, or desktop. This app makes it very easy to work on something from one device to the next. You are also able to share and collaborate on different Office 365 documents through this app.

Example: Share an excel sheet with staff as a sign-up sheet to reserve special rooms in the building.

Google Drive
Google Drive is an app were you can share and store documents, powerpoints, excell sheets, and whole folders with a single individual or a group of people.

Example: Create and share a folder with school staff that includes all powerpoints from staff meetings

Google Hangouts
Google Hangouts is a video conferencing and instant messaging app. Work with your team fromt the comfort of your home, office, or classroom.

Example: Have chat open and message other principals or teachers in the building.

Remind
Remind is a messaging app that allows you to easily message teachers parents and students without giving out your personal number. You are also able to make it a one-way communication.

Example: Send out a link to a survey that you want your teacher to take.

Skype is a video conferencing and instant messaging app.You will be to communicate with parents, teachers, and colleagues all from your computer.

Example: Hold a meeting with a parent that is unable to make it up to the school.
