Vertical Farming is a revolutionary approach to producing high quantities of nutritious and quality fresh food all year round, without relying on skilled labour, favourable weather, high soil fertility or high water usage.

Fully Integrated Technology

Vertical Farm Systems monitors and controls the levels of air, water and nutrition to provide optimum growing requirements with a fully intergrated computer managment system.

Wide Range of Crops

The crop growth is controlled by a comprehensive computer database that manages and maintains the optimum growing conditions for each specific crop variety being grown.

A wide range of crops such as baby lettuce, baby spinach, basil and other herbs can be grown.

Maximum Crop Yield

Crop cycles are faster due to the systems’ controlled temperature, humidity and daylight hours optimisation

Increased Growing Area

For the same floor area, a multi-level design provides nearly 8 times more growing area than a single level system.

Less expensive

Reduced transport costs: such farms can be set at the centre of the city, and close to the consumer, thus cutting on transport costs.

Reduced washing and processing: due to bio-security, less pests are bound to attack them. This means less pesticides will be used. This means there is no need to washing them prior to being sold.

Low water usage: controlled transpiration systems ensure only 10% of the water used during traditional planting is needed. Water losses due to transpiration are re-used since it is a closed system.

Low labour costs: People are just required for planting, harvesting and packaging.
