Many different types. Some work on farms and fields. Some work in factories, others have to go down to the mines. Some work as servants or waitresses, others sell things on the street or in markets. And some are even forced to join armies and fight as soldiers or work for very bad people like drug gangs.

IS THERE A WAY TO STOP CHILD LABOUR?

There are many people and organisations around the world who try to stop child labour. They speak about children’s conditions and try to convince nations to fight child labour with the law.
There is also a World Day Against Child Labour (12 June), so that everyone can talk about this problem.

It means these children are too young to do this job. Or, if they are older, it can mean doing a job that is dangerous or not suitable for them. But child labor doesn't mean doing jobs that don't interfere with your health or going to school, like housework or babysitting for a neighbor.
