Stress Management Notes

Para #3

Scientists proved that slow tempo music, such as,
classical or jazz, tend to "quiet your mind and
relax your muscles", (University of Nevada, Reno)
which can have a soothing effect on that certain person.

However, many can disagree with the fact that
slower tempo music is the best way to relieve
themselves from stress. Music that is more
upbeat can give a more positive vibe and make
others feel more happy and optimistic, rather
than feeling weighed down by our stress.

Music was also proven to help our brains release
endorphins; a type of hormones that helps gives
us that happy-go-lucky feeling we all enjoy.

Para #4

So while stress is often a negative thing, it can be
reduced by something as simple as listening to music.
Music can take a large toll on our mood and can help
the relax the tension of our mental state.

I beleive that it is one of the best strategies to mangae our stress and is can be one of the best medicines for our mental wellness.

Para #1

Stress is the feeling of emotional tension.
It is often seen as a negative thing, as when
not managed properley, it can become a
mental health issue.

Listening to music on the other hand can be
very beneficial when handling stress. It can
have a powerful effect on our mood and
is scientifically proven method to reduce
this sort of tension and to get our minds of
the issue.

Para #2

We use music to reduce stress in our lives
when we are working, studying or even when
it's just to help lift some pressure off our
shoulders.

However, scientists claim that classical, jazz
or music that is 'easy listening' work best if
one were to listen to music to reduce stress.

We can play the music in the background of
our study/work sessions or just using it as a
distraction from what is stressing us out.
