The fourth industrial revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is set to revolutionize technological advancements by enhancing the digitalization and operational capacity of robots and software to assist in tasks beyond human capability.

This will try to connect all industries into one, where all information is shared for a better environment in the digital world.

Cloud Computing

A place were programs can be used and not take space in a storage’s device, because they’ll be a cloud, this cloud is operating somewhere else but can be enter through internet. Information used in those spaces will be stored and used.

Augmented Reality

This is using an electronic device to enter another, digitalized reality, that adds up more information, that is sometimes impossible to perceive in the normal reality. This will be mainly through the use of our senses and specifically the sight.

Simulation

Simulations are controlled environments created to do a specific action. This will help in the creation of many products, since the losses will be minimized.

Internet of Things

Objects will have wireless connections through the internet made to create better experiences to the users. This objects will monitor and register information given to them, and pass it to other devices by internet, and will help humans in daily life problems.

3D Printing

In here machines will have the ability to create desired things obviously in three dimensions, but the impressive part is how it will help things like medicine, where body parts could be created, without the need of other’s donations.

Cybersecurity

This is amount the safety people can have when navigating the internet. Although websites are many types protected, they can sometimes be hacked; this hacking having different levels, and having different ways of starting, but mostly is by entering corrupted USBs, or being tracked in internet pages. Spam / adware: is only irritating stuff. Spyware: this can spy usage and costumes of the user. Phishing: this is a more serious type of spyware, having the ability to sometimes have important information that can damage. Ransomware: this can already control devices and information in a very bad manner. Rootkit: this can be considered the worst of all hacks, since it takes total control of the system, and has the possibility to severely attack the hacked.

Autonomous Robots

This robots are capable of acting without a human supervising, doing a certain task, and sometimes this task impossible for human beings to make. Some of the capabilities the robots will have are in the aspects of medicine, science and production, helping in those areas.

Big Data

This is the information stored by industries’ programs. The programs are able to do tasks by themselves and filter the information. Data is categorized in the called “Three Vs”. Volume: the number or quantity of the information. Velocity: how fast can it can get and interpret data. Variety: since opinions may change, the amount of variety has a role on the conclusions and numbers the data will give out.
