Special Education Services
The Limestone District School Board offers comprehensive special education services, including psychoeducational assessments conducted by school psychologists to diagnose learning disabilities, ADHD, and other conditions.
Provides a report to parents and school about the outcome of the assessment
Can diagnose LD, ADHD, MID, DD

Hearing Loss/Visual Impairment
Arranges interpreting services upon request
Facilitates transitions into and between schools
Manages assistive listening technology
Liases and consults with parents and outside agencies such as CHS and CNIB
Provides consultation, program support and PD to school personnel
Provide individualized service for students

A list of various personnel to support students in a variety of situations
Student Support Counsellors
Assisting students with self-regulation or mental health concerns, as well as assisting teachers in programming for these students
Speech-Language Pathologists
Assess students for speech, language, and articulation difficulties, and provide consultative support to staff
