The present perfect tense is utilized to describe actions from the past that continue to have relevance or effects in the present. It is commonly used for events that have recently occurred or for actions whose specific timeframes are not defined.

It's made up of the auxiliary have + the past participle of the main verb

The past participle of the irregular verbs has to be studied, taking into account the verb paradigm
The past participle of the regular verbs is made up by adding the suffix -ed to the base form
