Artist Inspiration

Randy Ortiz's art style interests me and is one of my inspirational artists for my culminating. The black and white colour scheme he uses reminds me of negative positive art and I thought it would be a cool idea to incorporate into my piece. Some of his portrait work has distinctive facial features/design elements that I also want to try to put into my art at a minimalistic level.

Gr 12 Culminating

Joshua Raichur is photographer/artist that caught my attention through his use of colour and perspective. One photo in particular caught my eye because of it's use of perspective. I feel that the perspective art will give new depth to my culminating as well as a colour scheme similar to his.

Final Plan/Idea

A 2 part project with contrasting perspectives utilizing positive negative art as well as a distinct colour scheme. Bold lines will be used in certain areas to allow the negative positive art to stand out more and unique shapes/figures will be used to enforce flow/balance.
