DESCRIPTION: The coin was dated back long time ago since the appearance of Tang Dynasty. The Archaeologies had yielded 16 coins that dated back as late as 618.

From the source, I can INFER that the Chinese had come to Singapore to trade and uses the coin as in exchange of goods between the Chinese and Singapore.
