The exploration of folklore and traditional dance reveals rich cultural intersections within the Caribbean region, particularly in Colombia. The fusion of African, European, and indigenous influences has led to the creation of unique dance forms such as Porro, Bunde, Currulao, Abozado, and Juga, each reflecting themes of love, life, death, and spirituality.
In this career I learn about the right management of the body, the history of the classic dance and about the theatrical corporal expression.
A few radio programs talk about folklor,
Javeriana Estereo and some other AM programs, although it'll be great to create another program that increases more the cultural diversity

Colombia has very few people that talk about folklore,
but Octavio Marulanda in his book "the folklore in Colombia
practice of cultural identity" wrote about all the country, he traveled allover Colombia and learned about the culture, the traditions, the mores, etc.
Joropo
This dance is an insignia in that region.
This dance is the llaneros representative dance.
Porro and Fandango
The Caribbean region has a strong relation
with the indigenous. Their musical instruments and their traditions still exists in much people.
This dance is called Porro, it's a lover's dance.
Pasillo Antioqueño
In this Region are too many dances
because the andean region is more influenced by european men, black men and indigenous.
This dance is an example of european influence.
The folklore dance is the frist example
"The African heritage of the body in movement met with the expresions of dance from europe and the indigenous, each one of them gave several elements to create some afrocolombian, mulatto and zamba daces. It's richness is shown at sacred festivals and at the carnival parties of the coast. They accomplish to show the love, the work, the games, the rituals, the animals, the war and the history."
