Resource Teacher

The role of a resource teacher encompasses a multifaceted approach to support students, teachers, and parents. They act as a liaison with educational specialists and maintain active communication with school administration to advocate for the individual needs of students.

Allowing students to express concerns to someone they relate with.
Providing specialist input to the teacher on how students are learning
can suggest appropriate assistive technologies and devices for the teacher to integrate into T&L
Giving an additional voice/perspective/ to the teacher to develop understanding of the student and his/her strengths/challenges to suggest appropriate teaching strategies; A co-teacher in many ways.
