if we got lockers we could paint them our school colours to show SCHOOL SPIRIT

a good reason to have a locker is beacuse you can keep all your personial things inside it that you dont want it to get lost or stolen

the lockers will prevent stealing (not that there will be any stealing) and things will not get lost as much
