Natural selection is an evolutionary phenomenon that is defined as the differential reproduction of the genotypes of a biological population. This formula establishes that the conditions of an environment favor or hinder. That is to say that they select the reproduction of living organisms according to their peculiarities.

A species is a group of organisms or natural populations capable of interbreeding and producing fertile offspring, although - in principle - not with members of populations belonging to other species.
