The seven Years War

The Seven Years' War saw significant conflict between France and Britain in North America, where it is also known as the French and Indian War. French forces, led by Louis-Joseph de Montcalm, operated under a centralized colonial administration that aimed for assimilation with France, contrasting sharply with the British, who employed a more decentralized approach, working in cooperation with local chiefs.
