Types of Law

Various branches of law regulate different aspects of society, encompassing both private and public legal matters. Private law covers areas such as property law, which deals with the ownership and use of property, and tort law, which holds individuals accountable for causing harm to others.

Administrative Law
It is the body of law that defines the relationship between citizens and government agencies and regulates the operation and procedures of those government agencies

Contract Law
Overlooks the requirements for legally binding agreements. Contracts can involve complex agreements between companies or just be purchasing anything at a store.
Family Law
It deals with the relationship between people living together. It can include separation, divorce, division of property, and child custody
Tort Law
A suit has been filed against former CEO of AutoCanada for his private acquistions of auto dealerships. Caused damage to the company. He breached his fiduciary duties by buying these dealerships- Contract Law
Holds a person responsible for the damage they cause to another person.
