Role of Steering Group Member

The responsibilities of a Steering Group member are as follows: - to be committed to and act as a champion for the achievement of the Objects; - to be a good ambassador for the Steering Group and for the Forum; - to attend Steering Group meetings, vote on items of business and make a positive contribution to the achievement of the Objects; - to act as an advocate for the Forum in seeking approval of their organisation’s commitment to the Forum; - to consider and react to issues raised by members; - to consult with member organisation representatives individually and/or collectively on matters affecting their interest; - to participate in the appointment process of Solent Forum staff, if required.
