What is a Constellation: A constellation is a group of stars that form shapes or figures.
How did we discover star constellations?
As astronomers studied the night sky with modern telescopes, they were able to discern stars in the dark spaces around the constellations

They were named after animals which explores saw thorugh there journey.

They are called Astronomers. People use telescopes and for example the hubble space telescope.
