Technology Make Us Spend More Money

Repair

Repairing can be expensive. Phones break all the time the problem with this is that repairing them can cost alot of money (for example it costs $200 to fix a iPhone 6s plus). Also repairing a tv or computer can be expensive, as sometimes the if tv does not work or is broken. You have to call someone which can cost money. Also computers can be expensive to repair because sometimes they break, or over heat. To get them fixed can be on the pricey side. Even small things like getting a virus can cost money as you have to buy anti-virus which retails for $30 - $40.

Internet

Wifi can be very expensive and cost a lot of money. Internet companies advertise it as cheap, but we don't realise that the. Internet is probably a really low speed and dose not work that well, so we have to buy a higher speed which costs more money. Also sometimes the company raises the price without you knowing. Also phone companies can be pricy, as sometimes you need more data which cost more money. But the big factor with phone plans are that you pass your limit which gives you a big bill. Another reason this can be expensive the company's adds tax which can be pricy (for example. if you have a $30 plan you have to pay $40 because you have to pay tax). Another thing is that sometimes if you call 911 you get charged extra.

Medical

Technology can be medically expensive. Sometimes watching to much tv or looking at a screen to long can lead to vision loss. Which means you have to go to the eye doctor , which can cost money. Also if you need glasses they can be pretty pricy as they usually retail for $200 an up. Another reason why technology can be medicaly expensive is that sometimes you can get bullied on the internet. Which sometimes can lead to mental problems and you might have to go to rehab wic can be very expensive. Going along with that you might have to got to therapy which can also cost alot of money.

Games

Games can cost a lot of money. As when you but a console that probably costs around $500, you need to buy games for it which cost $60 - $100 and if you don't its going to be useless. Also once you finish a game, you have to buy another game an that repeats. Even games on devices can cost money as sometimes you need to upgrade, you need more coins, etc. All of these things can lead to money los as they can get addicting.

Cases

Cases can be cheap or expensive. Usually the un-protective cases are the cheap. But the un-protective cases "are cute" and that makes people want to by them, when they already have 10 of them. Also cheap cases break very easily so you have to buy another case over-and-over again. Un-protective cases can be expensive as sometimes people like to charge you more, so you really have to research what you buy. Expensive cases are usually really protective but most people don't buy them as there "not cute", they don't realise that they would be saving money. If they bought the expensive case, it would last a long time and protect your device instead of spending way much more money buying a bunch of un-protective chap cases.
