Team Canada goes into their final game of the 2010 olympic games in Vancouver to play the United States to discover who would be taking home the gold medal that year. This had been the game that had changed history as it was the most watched hockey game since the miracle on ice in 1980 and it was known to be “The Golden Goal '' And that had ended the game with a Canada win 3-2 in overtime against the states. Sidney Crosby had been the scorer of this stunner of a goal in overtime and had won them the game. This will be the game included in my graphic novel

The finals

Semi-finals

Team Canada defeats the country of Slovakia to become finalists and potential champions of the 2010 men's hockey olympics against the United States of America. Roberto Luongo had been the game saver for this game as he had many spectacular saves and had left Slovakia stranded with only 2 goals throughout the game.

Feb 24th

In a great game that had left citizens of canada and russia thrilled, the canadians had played the country of russia i the quarter final of men's hockey and it had been quite the upset knowing that russia is known to be one of best hockey teams in the world now and had been known to be good for past years. The Canadians had shocked the world when they had cunted 7 individual goals against the Russians, when the Russians had only counted for 3 goals during the game. After the win of the Canadians, they continue on to play the Slovakians in the semifinals of the 2010 Vancouver olympics.

Late group stage

Feb 16th-18th

Canada faces team norway, team switzerland and team usa in the pre eliminary rounds of the olympics, second game had been against switzerland to start off the prelims. Canada had completely dominated this game as they had blown out the swiss and out scoring them 8-0 to have a heavy start to the olympics and to become first place in the group stage to start off. Advancing to playing their second group stage game against the country of Switzerland where it had been a very close game that had eventually led to vertime in which also led to a shoutout where the Canadians had defeated the swiss in a close match with the Canadians scoring 3 points add the Swiss holding up with two points.
