Adjectives serve the purpose of describing nouns, providing information about their qualities, states, or quantities. They can range from descriptive adjectives that convey characteristics such as color, size, and appearance, to quantitative adjectives that specify the amount or number of nouns.

Types of Adjectives

Adjectives are words that describe the qualities or states of being of nouns: enormous, doglike, silly, yellow, fun, fast. They can also describe the quantity of nouns: many, few, millions, eleven.

Quantitative

The quantitative type of adjective applies to the question statement classification like “how much or how many”

Possesive

We use possessive adjectives to express who owns (or 'possesses') something. A possessive adjective is used in front of a noun (a thing)
