Planes
Planes were invented during the first world war on a small scale. But since then have developed tremendously. From passenger planes to war machines. This lead to bombers to drop bombs from the sky onto your enemies, Fighter planes developing more and more bringing the war to the sky. Planes are a serious weapon. From than to now they have not stopped improving in technology. Now we went from props to jet engines making them go ever faster and even more efficient.

Planes are really close to #1 on this list but were coming in at #2. The plane or nowadays ''Jets'' are a crucial part of not only our military but every military in the world! Jets are used for many things, Transporting other things like tanks troops anything really, Spotting for artillery, Supplying air support for our troops on the ground its all so crucial! Drones are fairly new in terms of Military use. They can be used for spying, Scouting and nowadays were getting into armed drones! These could be a game changer for our Military

Tanks
Tanks are used by all countries. Canada itself was lacking armaments in the second world war. They needed a tank. They had two designs, One was the Ram tank. This never saw combat and the other design was the Grizzly This also sadly did not see combat! Canada eventually accepted the traditional shermans from the U.S. Both tanks were used for training exercises.

Next on the list coming in at #3 would have to be tanks! Tho tanks are not as important to us as they were in world war 2. It is a crucial part of every military to have equal technologies. But Tanks can be crucial on the battlefield lets say your attacking a strong point on the opposing side. You have a squadron of troops attacking... Well they are easily taken out! Where as if you bring a tank you can slowly let it track up to the outpost supplying covering fire while you move behind the tank, this gives you a huge advantage point and can save many lives. Tanks basically ended trench warfare. Tanks were able to push up into enemy lines while troops use it as cover. Making trench warfare basically useless in a way unless the trench is heavily armed with anti tank guns. But that's not all from the first world war to present time they have been revolutionized, They are now deadly mobile weapons usually fighting against other tanks becoming a war between them.
Machine Gun
1884 The first automatic machine gun was made. This was called the gatling gun. This depended on the operator to turn a crank in order for the bullets to fire.
Machine guns are used by all countries,Some better than the other countries and were all designed different. They changed everything! Basically ended the interestingly dumb way we use to fight with our muskets this really just brought out a hole new game to play.
