Activities to Promote DL

The key points are the arguments which will support your thesis. These can be agreeing arguments or disagreeing arguments too, in each case they need to reflect on the main idea.

Students read DL books, have close captioning available in L1, listen to music in students' L1

Create DL texts/artifacts ie. books, pamphlets, instructional pieces

DL writing activities ie. students write using L1 with a partner in their journals, personal narratives etc.
