During the Blitz in World War II, British cities faced extensive bombing campaigns that resulted in significant loss of life and widespread destruction. Around 40,000 people were killed, and 250,000 homes were destroyed, creating a dire situation for civilians.

Housing, Ports and railways were targeted Hitler turned to bombing cities to destroy British industry and morale Hitlers plans to invade Britain Operation sea lion. The Blitz 40000 people killed 13000 killed in 1940, very awful. Every major town/city attacked Bombing British Cities in 1940
