Efforts to protect the environment encompass several critical actions. Preserving forests is paramount as vast areas of tropical forests are being lost every second, impacting biodiversity and climate.
Drastically reduce food losses and waste that currently mean incredible amounts (30% of world production, equivalent to 1,300 million tons per year when there are currently 870 million people victims of the famine).
6. Avoid the use of fuels!
Replace the current energy matrix by drastically reducing the use of fossil fuels to create alternative, renewable and clean energies. The almost 700 billion dollars in subsidies to the oil and coal sector must be eliminated to integrate the generation of alternative renewable energies such as solar, wind, and others.
