Experience with Technology

I have tried to integrate technology to help with organizing and executive function. So far my Galaxy Fit Watch has been the only thing I can figure out!

Until recently I have been resistant to technology because I found it difficult to understand how to apply it. I have been lovingly referred to as "luddite".

I am excited about learning more about how to use technology in the classroom for the benefit of students and my self as an educator

Using technology to bring new perspectives and role models to students in the classroom

A focus on using technology to promote organization and executive function

Technology use to provide options for how students engage with material

I have a pet dove! This bird has changed my life!

Bachelor of Outdoor and Experiential Education (P/J), Queen's University

Co-Op Placements with UW

My two Co-op placements ultimate directed me towards applying to Queen's Outdoor and Experiential Education Program

Honours Bachelor of Liberal and Professional Studies in Human Rights and Equity Studies from York University

Studying at York gave me perspective far beyond my classes. I will always be grateful for the peers I learned from.

I started out my undergrad at the University of Waterloo in Public Health w Co-op. These first few years very much informed my further studies and continue to be very important to my ways of thinking, despite deciding not to graduate from this program.
