The Nazca Lines have sparked various theories about their purpose and origins. One theory, proposed by Erich Von Daniken, suggested they were alien landing strips, a notion now widely discredited despite initial popularity.

Theory I support the most and why
I support this theory the most because their is pottery that is believed the Nazca Culture smashed on purpose to act as a offering to the Gods for rain water. The Nazca lived in a dessert so water would obviously be very precious.
