because before they were trying to make a rock warm and then the zookeeper gave Ray and Silo an egg. to Ray an Silo were trying to make a baby out a rock and the zookeeper saw that and then he gave Ray and Silo a real egg and then they had a family.

I think that the author used a simple vocabulary such as "boy and girl" instead of "male and female" because it makes it engaging towards any age group. Using simple words make it engaging, especially towards a younger group of audience because it's easier for them to understand.

This reminds me of a sitcom named Modern Family because in the show there is a family of 2 dads and they adopt a baby girl which then connects to the book that was read over the PA system because in the book Tango has a family of 2 dads without a mom.

I felt happy while reading this text because Ray and Silo fell in love and they really wanted a child. So then the zookeeper gave Roy and Silo a egg lost from its parents so that Roy and Silo can have there own child.It made me think of all of the couples around the world that cant have children and choose to adopt a child.
