Thai Culture

In Thai business culture, punctuality is crucial as arriving late for meetings can create a negative impression. Respect for the monarchy is paramount, and any jokes or negative remarks about the King are unacceptable.

Hofstede Dimensions

Indulgence (Score = 45)
The reason why I chose this dimension is that it fully portrays a country's state of mind. Whether they are happy or not. Thailand has a score below 45 indicating there is more restraint than indulgence.
Power Distance (Score = 64)
Power Distance refers to the way power is distributed. It is a measure of how much society is willing to accept that power is distributed unequally. A high score, in this case, would mean that Thai society is willing to accept that power is distributed unequally. I chose this dimension because I felt like it better portrays the way a country is being run.
