Mom - Cares about Chase - Easily manipulated by Chase

Grandma - Unaware of the family's situation - Unaware that the money she gave for Chase and Gordie were misused

Aunt Gail - Helps Mom stay sane - Has good intentions

Richard Cross - Was a provider for his family - Died early and wasn't able to see his daughter grow up

Daughter - Innocent - No correlation to anyone else in the story aside from her parents

Wife - Very strong for her daughter - Widowed as a result of Chase's crime

Chase - Did not care about the effects of drugs on him - Manipulated Gordie and his mom to give him money

Miss Larson - Helps and supports Gordie - Makes Gordie realize that he was not to blame for Chase's fate

Detective Keppler - Just as concerned for Gordie as he is for Richard Cross's family - Assures Gordie that everything will be okay

Jade - Gordie's love interest - Always available to help Gordie

Jack - Appreciates Gordie - Thinks of Gordie as more than just a band member
