Have you ever experienced anything relating to a dress code or do you know someone who has? Tell me about it.

I have experienced a dress code when I played on a Rep Volleyball Team. In tournaments we had to play with specific uniform. One time I forgot one jersey (we had two kinds) and was forced to go back home and get it because it was very particular type. (really one was red and one was black)
It mattered because in volleyball if you are wearing a different jersey from others it signifies that you are playing a role called "libero"
I have not experienced anything related to a dress code regularly
I have experienced being dress coded in gym when I do not wear proper running shoes
Maybe because I am a boy and my clothes are for comfort and are typical for everyone
I never thought that I needed to my express myself through dressing

How do you feel about dress codes?

I feel like dress codes are needed
Also dress codes limit bullying and makes everyone feel secure as equals

Kids cannot judge how wealthy/cool someone is based on what they wear

I agree that limiting the amount of expression a student has will have better impact on their studies
