These actions would help me pay attention and stay focused because when other people are doing work, it motivates me to do the same.
Some actions of others that help me learn are being quiet and visibly doing work.
Some actions that help me learn are listening to music and looking directly at the teacher and/or whiteboard during class.
Some tools I can use to help keep me interested are technology, books and coloring.
Some tools I can use to help me learn include the special room and my IEP.
Things I need help with on a personal level are transportation, mental health, and healthy eating.
Some things I need support with are the work I receive, the resources I have access to and my transportation to school.
Things that I can't control but still affect my learning include my teachers, my classmates and the environment around me.
Some things I'm currently improving on are my writing skills, the confidence to ask for help and the responsibility to start and finish all my homework.
I'm proud of my improvement in basketball, my lacrosse skill and my ability to dedicate myself to a goal.
Some of my skills/talents include basketball, running and reading.
I'm proud of getting my grade 9 math credit early, being tested and labeled as "gifted" and getting good grades in school.

I can help myself go from "survival mode" to "learning mode" my taking deep breathes and closing my eyes.
Things that help me calm down or/and keep me calm are playing basketball, listening to music, reading, and coloring.
Times when I feel stressed or frustrated when I repeatedly fail at something or if I'm sad/mad. Another time where I often get frustrated is when something that SHOULD work, doesn't.
My parents, my own self expectations and also the expectations of others are often 3 of the biggest stressors in my life. I try making these not as bad by practicing self love and not listening to my parents.
My goals for the future include graduating from University, finding a stable and enjoyable job and making enough money to support myself.
During this upcoming year I'm setting the goal of becoming a starter of my basketball team. I also want to improve my over all basketball skill. My last goal for the year is receive good marks on my final report card.
St. Michael the Archangel is my favorite saint because I really enjoy reading about his story. He also is an inspiration to me and helps me be brave and honest every day.

On my faith journey I'm currently in the "Forgiven Stage". I strongly believe in God and Jesus but I'm still figuring out and exploring what about the bible and church community i believe in.
My CGE strengths are being a "Caring Family Member" and
being a "Responsible Citizen"

My cheerleaders are Virginia(mom), Leland(dad), Atticus(brother) and Rachel.

I sometimes wish I had more time so that I could play more basketball. With extra time I would also workout more and read more books.
I would be interested in learning more about basketball, Greek Mythology and also, the human body.
Some of my interests/hobbies are basketball, reading, video games and listening to music.
I feel I belong in my country (Canada), my school (Holy Cross Secondary School) and my basketball team.
I feel I am special because I play basketball at a highly competitive level. On top of that, I'm above average height and I have an IEP.
