How can biosphere reserves be a significant example of the world needing to change, if the present world requires urbanization to run?

If there are so many organizations helping the biosphere reserve, how does the government fund all of these reserves?

Is the primary resource/industries significantly needed for the biosphere reserve and the country or can it be removed?

The products do not have a major significance as it is used for food or recreational purposes.

The Long Point Company bought the land of Long Point as the government sold it to them after they couldn't control the pirates thieves and etc.

They loved watching the species of animals and recreational hunting and kept it to a limit. They had goals to sustain the environment.
