Soapmaking involves two primary methods: cold and hot processes. The hot process entails heating and bubbling the soap mixture, melting and measuring various oils, and mixing them with a lye solution before cooking and molding.

Cold and Hot Process

Add 30% olive oil

Include a mold for the shape of the soap

Include 30% of palm oil

Add 30% of coconut oil

Add 10% of water

depending on the soap size, that's the amount one uses of lye

When making the cold soap you can add 91% of alcohol it can help a lot

Add 10% of sweet almond oil

Set up the station

All the main ingredients used to make the soap

Melt/ measure the oils when you combine them

Add water to both of the solutions mixed together

Mixing the solutions together

Mix them all together then place it in the molder

Leave the soap to cool off for 24-48 hours

Stir until it turns creamy

Mix oils and lye solution

Once the solid oils melted add liquid oils

cook the soap

Mold the soup

Wait for soap to heat and bubble

Melt the oil on the stove

Measure base oils

Add lye to the water, don't add water to the lye or it can burn you.

Prepare a lye solutions

Measure additives and essential oils with that method

It doesn't have a smooth finish like when you do the cold process.

Check on the soap frequently

Watch over it for a couple hours.

Time is needed when using the methods to watch over it cooking.
