A language become global when:
Children are taught when they arrive in school (by adults who learned it in a bad way)
It is used as a medium of communication, laws, media and the educational system.
A language is not global by the number of speakers. One example is Spanish.
A language is consider “global” when it develops a special role that is recognized in every country.

English as a Global Language in my learning setting

Go abroad: A lot of people say that they want to go to USA or Canada to get more money.
To be understood: sometimes tourist come to my home town and it feels amazing helping them
Job: The people around me always say if you learn English you can get a better job
TV shows: the majority of famous TV shows come from USA and their language is English.

What are the dangers of a global language?

There might be discrimination if you don’t speak it
Extinction of languages with few speakers because they become unnecessary

What makes a global language?

A language belongs to people when they succeed their language succeed and when they fail it fails.
A language become international language for one chief reason: the power of its people “specially” their political and military power.
