Laws

Laws for Aboriginals people
The Aboriginal Peoples used to not be able to have lawyers as they didn't want them to be able to contest treaties that they didn't know they were signing. They could have lawyers in 1927. The Indian act is another law where if a women of aboriginal descent married a man of non-aboriginal origins she would loose her status as an Aboriginal.
