Life After Highschool

Adjusting to life after high school involves several important considerations. Living arrangements are a primary focus, with plans to stay with parents initially but aspiring for independence by possibly renting an apartment with a friend.

Relationships

I really want to get a St.Bernard puppy at some point. Obviously wont do this one until i have room for it.
I hope to make new friends. Im not always good at socializing so hopefully work, and post secondary will force me into that. I hope i remain close with all my current friends because if known them for most of my life.

Concerns

Hoping to get out of this funk i've been in on and off for the past two years where i've been procrastonating and stressing out over whats to come.
Worried about my mental health while taking on new adventures.

Living Situation

I eventually would like to move out of Thunder Bay and live somewhere else. I think it be really cool to live in a major city for a bit like vancouver or Toronto. I'd also love to live in a different county temporarly maybe do a year abroad in university.
Probably going to continue living with my parents for at least the first couple years of post secondary maybe til i graduate but i do like independace and alone time (i'm an introvert) so i might decide to move out before i graduate from post secondary. I'd probably rent an apartment with a friend.

work

Im not really sure yet what i want to do long term I know i really enjoy the social sciences but thats about it.
For work right now i just babysit occationally so i'd like to get a part time job during post secondary. Maybe in a department store.

Education

Im also interested in maybe going to Confederation College and studying social work.
Im still not 100% sure what i want to do but im hoping to go to Lakehead and study one of the social/ humanity studies like sociology, psychology, political sciences
