Literary Analysis - Hunter Brenning

When examining the historical accuracy of a novel set during the Battle of Gettysburg, it's essential to cross-reference the details presented in the book with established historical records.

Literary Analysis - Hunter Brenning

I think the author did a very good job at making the book as close to the historical event as possible.

In your novel, your author included specific details about the time period in which your book takes place. These details should connect with the details you have learned while researching your time period. For this analysis, it is your job to judge how well your author made these connections. Your task is to find 3 examples of the time period in your novel. One example must come from the beginning of your novel, one example must come from the middle of your novel, and one example must come from the end of your novel. For each of the three examples, you must provide one piece of text evidence from your book and one piece of evidence from your research to support your information. Then, you must determine whether or not, based on that evidence, you believe your author did a good or bad job of reflecting on the time period. You must explain your opinion.
