The entire purpose of VC pitch is to sell YOU and the people in your project.
The Ask?
How much do you what?
Who has invested so far? Did you invest personally? Shows commitment. Friends and family? Angel investors?
Capitol structure so far.
What is the VC money going to be used for?
A year or two back or as long as you have been in exsistance and four year projected financials. How is the product going to translate into a business model? What is the driver? Customer growth and the cost of aquisition and retention.
What the the key reasons that your product will succeed in the market place.
Why is no one doing what you are proposing? What the the road blocks and how do you plan to deal with them?
Everyone has competition, even if it's the old way of doing something. Who or what exactly is the competition? That helps you judge who you will fit in to the world.
What makes you special? What is your positioning strategy? How are you going to prevent the competition from eating your lunch.
Special relationships what will help you. A producing partner. Valudation this helps sell the idea. You are bigger than the one little thing over here.
How do you make money on it? Per unit basis or for the actual product you are selling. Who are your customers?
What the heck is the product? No live demo, just a screen short or mock up. Let them know why people are goping to buy what every it is.
What is the size of the market? Is it worth the investment?
Exprience, you have done this sort of thing before. Who is the team.
