in it's 2006 edition of Guide To Greener Electronics.
The negative publicity lead Apple, and Steve Jobs to publicly change their environmental goals. Apple's end result was Jobs 2007 initiative called A Greener Apple. This resulted in Apple reducing and sometimes banning toxic chemicals such as mercury and cadmium. Apple continued to expand their environmental goal, and by 2010 the company had completely re branded. Since that time Apple has seen a massive spike in sales, which has led to the dominance that Apple has on the Technology Market.

The technology market has many dominant companies but one of the strongest globally is Apple. Apple has a wide variety of target markets for their products because they are user friendly and adaptable for all age groups depending on the product. Ipods and Ipads can be targeted to a wide range of age group from young children to adulthood. MacBooks are widely used in schools and universities, among students and teachers for learning. They are found in homes as the main computer source.
Apple provides a wide variety of accessories from the Apple watch, Airpods and a music service iTunes that can again target any age group. The Apple Watch can be used to help keep you organized at home and at work, while you can use iTunes to listen to your favourite song from any device or directly from the app on your phone.
The reason Apple has been so successful is based on how strongly they are able to market all of their products or services. Apple had marketing down to a science for years. One of the reasons they are continuously able to successfully sell so many of their products is due to how they market. Similar to their products, Apple's marketing relies on simplicity. They do not overload with specs of the product or the price (Daily Egg, 2019). One of Apple’s most dominant products is the Iphone. Year after year, it continues to be the most popular cell phone worldwide (Statista, 2019). The Iphone offers a user friendly interface that can suit the needs of many.
