Some animals hunted for their skin or horns to make jewelry, medicines and other objects. Many poachers just do it for trophy hunting.

The thing is poaching is illegal but still happens so people need to raise awaireness so that the government can realize that it is still an issue and can try to re-enforce the law.

With poaching also comes habitat loss or animals flee sometimes towards neerby communities. It has happened before in Africa specifically Zimbabwe where lions started coming near villages because they could no longer live in the nature which also puts human lives in danger.

Most wildlife populations decrease by large amounts or become extinct.
